  Justice CourtCANYON CITY – Grant County Justice Court reported the following fines and judgments: Jackie Forsman, Canyon City, pled no contest on a charge of minor in possession of alcohol and was fined a total of $309, which included an assessment of $35 and $24 cost. She was ordered by the court to participate in and complete an alcohol treatment program at her own expense under the direction of the Grant County Center for Human Development, and to schedule an appointment for evaluation within 30 days. Shiloh Stinnett, Canyon City, pled no contest on a charge of minor in possession of alcohol and was fined a total of $309, which included an assessment of $35 and $24 cost. She was ordered by the court to participate in and complete an alcohol treatment program at her own expense under the direction of the Grant County Center for Human Development, and to schedule an appointment for evaluation within 30 days. The fine in this case will be paid at the rate of $50 per month. Michael W. Phillips, John Day, pled guilty on charges of driving while suspended and driving uninsured. On the driving while suspended charge he was fined $295, and on the driving uninsured he was fined $175.The fines will be paid at the rate of $25 per month beginning Oct. 16. Mark Wakefield, Boise, Idaho, pled guilty on a charge of minor in possession of alcohol and was fined a total of $309 which included an assessment of $35 and $24 cost. He was ordered by the court to participate in and complete an alcohol treatment program at his own expense under the direction of the Grant County Center for Human Development, and to schedule an appointment for evaluation within 30 days. The fine will be paid at the rate of $100 per month beginning Sept. 20.Miscellaneous Violations Joseph Bosworth, Pendleton, failed to appear on a charge of violation of basic speed rule (88/55 zone) and was found guilty by default. He was fined $295 plus a $25 driver’s license suspension fee. Steve Hueckman, Elmira, failed to appear on a charge of violation of basic speed rule (75/55 zone) and was found guilty be default. He was fined $109 plus a $25 driver’s license suspension fee. Samuel Carlton, Highland, Calif., violation of basic speed rule (78/55 zone). Fined $175. Vernon and John Day ambulances were dispatched to a location on Fields Creek, Road 2150, for a subject reportedly suffering of chest pains. Sept. 16 – John Day Ambulance was dispatched to a residence in the 100 block of Southwest First Street for a 74-year-old male who was reportedly having difficulty breathing. Sept. 16 – John Day Ambulance was dispatched to Down Home Foster Care for an 83-year-old female who was reportedly weak, hot and clammy. Sept. 17 – John Day Ambulance was dispatched for an 82-year-old female who reportedly was suffering chest pains. Sept. 18 – John Day Ambulance was dispatched to Prairie City High School for a 12-year-old male with a reported broken ankle. Patient was refused transport by his parents. Sept. 19 – Mt. Vernon and John Day ambulances were dispatched to the scene of a motor vehicle accident on Highway 26 just west of the Mt. Vernon city limits. No transport. Sept. 19 – An ambulance was dispatched to a location in Long Creek for an 84-year-old male who was reportedly very weak and shaky. Sept. 19 – An ambulance was dispatched to a location off County Road 20 on Forest Service Road 2050 for a 45-year-old male who had reportedly collapsed. Sept. 20 – John Day Ambulance was dispatched for a 70-year-old male who reportedly coughed blood. Sept. 21 – An ambulance was dispatched for an elderly female who had reportedly fallen. Sept. 22 – John Day and Prairie City ambulances were dispatched for a 72-year-old female who was reportedly suffering from severe nausea and cold sweats.
