Oregon Department of Fish & Wildlife filed an application with the Water Resources Department for an additional point of diversion as provided by ORS 540.510 to 540.530.
Certificate 25856, in the name of Stewart Livestock Company, Inc., include a right limited to 1/40 cubic foot per second per acre to June 1st and 1/80 cubic foot per second per acre thereafter from the South Fork John Day River, tributary to John Day River, with a date of priority of 1882, for irrigation of 18.5 acres and stock.
The point of diversion for this right is in the NE1/4 NW1/4, Section 36, T 13 S, R 26 E, W.M.

Jack and Merilee Young Land Company filed an application with the Water Resources Department for an additional point of diversion of water as provided by ORS 540.510 to 540.530.
Certificate 51511, in the name of Eva M. Belshaw is a right limited to 1/40th cubic foot per second per acre irrigated from John Day River, from April 1 to September 30, further limited to 1 acre-foot per calendar month to July 1 and 3/4 acre-foot per acre thereafter; total 5 acre-feet per acre for the season measured at the point of diversion, with a priority date of 1865 for irrigation of 10.0 acres.
The point of diversion appropriation for this right is: Enterprise Ditch, NW 1/4 SW 1/4, Section 20, T 13 S, R 31 E, W.M.
The applicant proposes to add an additional point of diversion to be located in the SE 1/4 SW 1/4, Section 19, T 13 S, R 31 E, W.M.; 1150′ north and 2560′ east of the southwest corner, Section 19.

PUBLIC NOTICE
Notice is hereby given that the Mt. Vernon Planning Commission will conduct a Public Hearing on the 14th day of January, 2003, beginning at 6:30 p.m. at the Mt. Vernon City Hall, 199 West Main, Mt. Vernon, Oregon to consider the following land use matter.
Application for Conditional Use No. CU-02-01 by Dave Hamilton to operate a small commercial winery in a commercial zone, Tax Lot 1100, Tax Map No. 13 30 21 DC; located in the McKern’s Laundry building.
Said application is being considered pursuant to Section 6.010 of City Ordinance No. 95-02. Persons or parties interested in or concerned with the above proposal may appear in person before the commission at said hearing, or may submit written testimony to the commission c/o the City of Mt Vernon, P.O. Box 647, Mt. Vernon, OR 97865 on or before 4:30 p.m., January 13, 2003. Copies of the application and staff report will be available for public review at the Mt.. Vernon City Hall not less than seven (7) days prior to said hearing.

The Lazy H Land and Cattle Company, Inc. filed an application with the Water Resources Department for an additional point of diversion of a water right as provided by ORS 540.510 to 540.530.
Certificate 1391, in the name of H.D. Stewart and L.V. Stewart, is a right limited to 0.22 cubic foot per second (cfs) with a priority date of July 30, 1915 from Bridge Creek for the irrigation of 17-1/3 acres.
The point of diversion is in the SE1/4 NE1/4, Sec. 18, T13S, R28E, W.M.; 1140′ W. of the E1/4 corner of Sec. 18.
The applicants propose to add an additional point of diversion in the NW1/4 NW1/4, Sec. 18, T13S, R28E, W.M.; 420′ S. and 1750′ W. from the N1/4 corner of Sec. 18.
