JOHN DAY – As of the first of April, Cenex Propane has new owners and is now known as Ed Staub & Sons Petroleum, Inc. – a small independent Oregon petroleum company.

Other than the name change, manager Jerry Larkin said the business will maintain the same crew and same service by providing customers with the sale of propane, including installation and service for commercial and residential needs.

Ed Staub & Sons Petroleum, Inc., located at 139 S. Canyon Blvd., is open for business 7 a.m.-noon and 1-4 p.m. Monday through Friday. Emergency calls are accepted seven days a week.
