Southeast Regional Alliance meets Monday

JOHN DAY – The Southeast Regional Alliance will hold its regular board meeting at 10 a.m. on Monday, July 28, at the Outpost Pizza, Pub & Grill, 201 W. Main St.
The SRA is a community and economic development region serving Grant, Harney, and Malheur Counties. It functions as the Regional Investment Board, Regional Partnership and Southeast Area Commission on Transportation.
Major agenda items at the July 28 meeting will include presentations from ODOT employees. Cheryl Jarvis-Smith, transportation planner, will discuss transportation planning and growth management; Bob Graham, District 14 manager, will talk about highway maintenance; and Mark Hanson, contract project manager, will give an update on Eastern Oregon highway bridges.
The regional representatives of the Community Solutions Team will give reports. The CST is made up of the state Departments of Agriculture, Economic and Community Development, Environmental Quality, Housing and Community Services, Land Conservation and Development, and Transportation.
All SRA meetings are open to the public and interested persons are encouraged to attend.
