Health Tip of the Week: Suicide prevention
Published 5:00 pm Tuesday, October 7, 2003
If you suspect that someone you know might commit suicide, you should listen to your gut instinct and take action. Inform the person’s parents, partner or other responsible friends or family. Make certain that the person does not have access to a gun. If they do, your local police or sheriff can help you find the best way to secure or dispose of a firearm.
