JOHN DAY – Homeowners can apply for a reduced-cost solar power installation through the Eastern Oregon Renewable Energies Non-profit, the sponsor of SolWest Fair.

One home will be chosen as the site of the next year’s pre-SolWest installation workshop. The installation will be done in July 2004 by a class of technical students under the direction of an instructor who is a professional solar installer.
