Business training tackles customer service, marketing

LA GRANDE – The Eastern Oregon University Small Business Development Center has scheduled two training sessions in Grant County on Saturday, Nov. 15.

Customer Service will be held 10 a.m.-noon. The workshop will verify that good customer service is the key to any business’ success. Attendees will learn techniques that will keep customers coming back.

It’s Marketing, Not Rocket Science will be offered 1-3 p.m. The why and how of marking will be explained along with how customers make buying decisions. Those attending will learn how to “position” a business. Discussion also will focus on the strengths and weaknesses of the media and how to create successful ads.
