JOHN DAY – The United Methodist churches of John Day and Prairie City will honor members and constituents who have passed away during the previous year during a ceremony on All Saints Day, El d’a de los muertos, Sunday, Nov. 2.

Services will be held at regular worship times – 9 a.m. at John Day, 126 N.W. Canton St. and 11 a.m. at Prairie City, near the city park.

Pastor Denny Diezel invites the community to “join us as we name our honored dead and remember the lives they shared with us.” The church’s motto is “open hearts, open minds, open doors.”
