Eric Burback died Jan. 1, from an accidental gunshot wound. He was 22.

Funeral services were held Jan. 5, in Sandy.

He was born on June 9,1982, to Cindy and Vincent Burback in Bend.

He moved with his family to Long Creek where he attended elementary school. The family later relocated to the Portland area.

Mr. Burback was a construction worker for Richter Concrete. He loved the outdoors, especially the ocean, four wheeling and working on old cars.

Survivors include his fiancee, Jennifer Daugherty of Boring; his daughters, Tiannah and Kristiannah, of Boring; parents, Cindy and Vincent Burback, and brothers, Randy and Jacob all of Boring; grandparents, Darrell and Glenda Savage of Prineville; Dudley and Beverly Burback of Iowa; great grandmothers, Lavelle Simmons of Long Creek and Fern Hanes of Prineville.
