Hundreds attend Health Fair

JOHN DAY – More than 600 people attended this year’s Health Fair, an annual, low-cost clinic that offers cancer screening and blood tests, among other checkups. Booths were there representing Genworth Financial, Lotions Etc., Air Life, Curves, Red Cross, Blue Mountain Hospital Foundation, Mt. Valley Eye Care, Dr. McMillian’s dental office, and Optelec Vision. Rose Smarr, a massage therapist, was there, as were Dr. Rushton, a podiatrist, and Kim Jacobs and Elaine Husted, dieticians. Lollie Champion was there in a breast cancer information booth, and Sherrie King was there with a biophotonic scanner.
