Wade Burgett sent to Iraq

Lance Cpl. Wade Burgett, son of Mike Burgett and brother of Deputy James Burgett, is serving with the MEF Engineering Division of the USMC in Iraq.

Lance Cpl. Burgett has a wife and two daughters living in Tulsa, Okla. His tour began in February 2005, with four weeks of training in Wichita, Kan., and he spent an additional four weeks in Camp Lejeune, N.C., before landing in-country April 1. Burgett’s tour is scheduled to end in 2006.
