Have you seen the northern lights? Midnight is the best time to see them, even if you do have to set the alarm! Enjoy this beautiful fall weather, or anyway it feels like fall. Rain would be very welcome.

Congratulations to all who have gone to be involved in Katrina disaster. It’s great to get updates on the Grant-Harney nurses from Phil on KJDY. Duane and Lily McKern have their Northside Mobil Laundry Service down there, along with Mary Bradley, Luke McKern and two of his friends from LaGrande.

Friday the 16 a group from Prairie City Assembly of God Church left with a truck load of donated items that are badly needed for the homeless. Per capita the money donated was so very generous. Way to go Grant County! Even with “our” problems it’s a great place to call home.
