Justice CourtCANYON CITY – Grant County Justice Court reported the following fines and judgments:

David MacIsaac, Redmond, pleaded guilty on a charge of possession of less than one ounce of marijuana.

He was fined $596, which included a $37 assessment and $59 cost.

MacIssac also pleaded guilty on a charge of possession of alcohol by a minor.

He was fined $311, which included a $37 assessment and $24 cost.

MacIssac was ordered by the court to participate in and complete an alcohol treatment program at his own expense and schedule an appointment for an evaluation within 30 days.

Justin K. Wright, Prairie City, pleaded guilty on a charge of possession of alcohol by a minor.

He was fined $250, which included an assessment of $37 and a $24 cost.

Wright was ordered by the court to participate in and complete an alcohol treatment program at his own expense and schedule an appointment for an evaluation within 30 days.

Kyle Johnson, Brightwood, pleaded guilty on a charge of possession of alcohol by a minor.

He was fined $250, which included an assessment of $37 and a $24 cost.

Bradley Tiffin Cunnington, Boise, was found guilty of unlawful possesion of a firearm.

He was fined a total of $986, which included $67 unitary assessment, $59 county assessment and $360 court appointed attorney fees.

Cunnington was placed on bench probation/diversion for a period of 12 months.

Eric Towers was found guilty of contempt of court.

He was sentenced to 10 days in the the Grant County Jail.

Miscellaneous Violations Joseph Mendenhall, Hermiston, failed to appear on a charge of violation of basic speed rule (92/55 zone) and was found guilty by default.

He was fined $421 plus an additional $25 driver’s license suspension fee.

Kevin Grabofsky, Eugene, failed to appear on a charge of failure to renew driver’s license.

He was fined $94 plus an additional $25 driver’s license suspension fee.

Jacqueline Forsman, Corvallis, failed to appear on a charge of violation of basic speed rule (79/55 zone) and was found guilty by default.

She was charged $237 plus an additional $25 driver’s license suspension fee.

Adam Morris, Manchester, Iowa, failed to appear on a charge of violation of basic speed rule (74/55 zone) and was found guilty by default.

He was fined $141 plus an additional $25 driver’s license suspension fee.

Charles Schutz, Monument, was found guilty of violation of basic speed rule (73/55 zone).

He was fined $110.

Larry Olson, Jefferson, was found guilty on a charge of unlawful hunting with a centerfire rifle and without valid tag.

He was fined $225.

Jay Parsons, Aloha, was found guilty on a charge of unlawful hunting with a centerfire rifle and without valid tag. He was fined $225.

Karen Sullivan, Prairie City, was charged with violation of basic speed rule (73/55 zone).

She was fined $90.

Gilbert Davis, Gold Beach, was charged with violation of basic speed rule (76/55 zone).

He was fined $180.

Lucas Garcia, Portland, was found guilty on a charges of hunting in a prohibited area and aiding in a game offense.

He was fined $300 on both charges and his hunting license was suspended for 24 months.

Noel Cayo, Las Vegas, Nevada, was charged with violation of basic speed rule (52/35 zone).

She was fined $138.

Cindy Batease, Canyon City, was charged with violation of basic speed rule (50/35 zone).

She was fined $110.

William Corcoran, Chelan, Wash., was charged with violation of basic speed rule (78/55 zone).

He was fined $180.

Fallon Hayes, Dubois, Wy., was charged with violation of basic speed rule (73/55 zone) and fined $141.

Anthony Diaz, Burns, was charged with violation of basic speed rule (79/55) and was fined $180.

On a charge of no operator’s license, charges were dismissed when he showed proof.

Randy Wenick, Mt. Vernon, was charged with violation of basic speed rule (78/55 zone).

He was fined $180.

Ronald Pool, Canby, was charged with violation of basic speed rule (76/55 zone).

He was fined $180.

James Copeland, Lakeview, was found not guilty on a charge of operating class II ATV restricted closed road.

John Sheldon, Otis Orchards, Wash., was charged with violation of basic speed rule (84/55 zone).

He was fined $237.

Janet Epperson, Eugene, was charged with violation of basic speed rule (75/55 zone).

She was fined $141.

Bob Yoder, Sheridan, was charged with hunting from a public roadway.

He was fined $ 225 and ordered to pay $50 in restitution.

James Haynes, Yuba City, Cal., was charged with violation of basic speed rule (77/55 zone).

He was fined $180.

Riley Linville, Clackamas, was charged with hunting in a prohibited area and failure to validate buck deer tag.

He was charged $340 on both charges.

Ross Linville, Toledo, was charged with hunting in a prohibited area and failure to validate buck deer tag.

He was charged $340 on both charges.

Sam McClain, John Day, failed to appear on a charge of careless driving and was found guilty by default.

He was fined $237.

Nathaniel Leonard, Hillsboro, failed to appear on a charge of violation of basic speed rule (78/55 zone) and was found guilty by default.

He was fined $237.

Timothy Kasch, Gresham, was charged with taking a game bird in a closed season.

He was fined $113 and ordered to pay $37 in restitution.

-Seth Thissell, John Day, was charged with careless driving (accident).

He was fined $320.

Rebecca Garo, Hines, was charged with violation of basic speed rule (75/55 zone).

She was fined $110.

Aureliano Torres-Aguilara, Spray, was cited for driving while suspended and warned for defective lighting.

Nov. 2 Matthew P. McKissick, 43, Kelso, Wash. was cited for failure to renew registration and no insurance. He was warned for defective lighting.

Mickey Reynolds, Prairie City, was cited by citzen for failure to maintain lane.

Nov. 3 Eric Towers, no age listed, was arrested on bench warrants.

Robert Todd Johnson, 41, Redmond, was arrested for DUII.

Nov. 4 Michelle Cuter, no age listed, John Day, was arrested for a bench warrant.

John Day Dispatch Oct. 31 – John Day dispatched for a fire alarm at Kam Wah Chung museum. Alarm was canceled for false alarm.

Oct. 31 – Grant County Sheriff’s Office dispatched to Monument for a possible burglary.

Oregon State Police Nov. 5 – Troopers were called to assist EMTs in a reported ATV crash with injuries.

Investigation revealed Cody Classen, 21, Dayville, was attemptinig to drive some cattle with his ATV when he hit an embankment, ejecting him from his ATV.

Mr. Classen was transported to Blue Mountain Hospital for treatment.
