OngoingFossil BedsRanger conducted, free, one hour, program at the James Cant Ranch at 2 p.m. on Nov. 19. The program features aspects of the human history of the ranch and John Day region. Participants should bring walking shoes and outdoor clothing.
The John Day Fossil Beds National Monument often provides ranger conducted hikes, tours of sections of the monument and even stargazing at the monument’s Thomas Condon Visitor Center, 32651 Highway 19 in Kimberly.
