Grant County Kruzers are hosting their 11th annual Show-n-Shine Car Show Aug. 5, from 8 a.m. – 3 p.m. at the City Park in Prairie City.

The location is a charming park in a small, quiet town with a backdrop of the spectacular Strawberry Wilderness.
There will be trophies and/or plaques awarded in seven classes, including a new class, teenage-owned entry. A trophy will also be awarded for Best of Show. Activities during the day include a poker walk through downtown Prairie City, door prizes from local merchants awarded throughout the day, oldies music, including live entertainment by the Fabulous Fairlanes. As a community effort, the show includes Arts in the Park at Depot Park where many vendors will be selling their wares and offering entertainment and food.
Entrants in the car show will receive a “goodie bag,” dash plaque, poker walk entry and chances to win special tenth-anniversary prizes.

The Grant County Kruzers are one of many Oregon auto clubs, with about 37 countywide members. The Kruzers meetings are held on the second Monday of each month at the city park or Hospice Building in Prairie City.
