Courtney Lynn Cody died Wednesday, May 31, 2006 at her home in Spray. She was 16.

Services were held June 4, 2006, in the Spray School gymnasium. Graveside services followed at the Spray Cemetery. A community fellowship and meal followed in the gymnasium. Pastor John P. King and Pastor Steve Adams officiated.
She was born Aug., 25. 1989, in Bend to Robert and Anita Cody. She lived in Spray her whole life.
Her passions were singing, sports, horseback riding and spending time with her many friends. She was a lover of life, enjoying all things. Her family meant so much to her and anyone that knew her knew that if she cared for you, she was loyal to the very end. She was a very passionate young lady and always full of good and mischievous ideas.

She is survived by her parents, Robert and Anita Cody, of Spray; her brother, Caleb, of Redmond; her paternal grandmother, Joyce Cody, of Fossil; uncle Otis and aunt Joyce Cody of Fossil; aunt Sharon Fallon of Lucedale, Miss.; maternal grandparents, John and Carol Asher, of Spray; aunt and uncle, Frank and Chun Asher, of Redmond; and many other aunts, uncles and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her paternal grandfather, Ray Cody, and her cousin, Marva Smith, of Lucedale, Miss.
