Obituaries: Andrew Paul Boyer

Andrew Paul Boyer died Monday, Nov. 6, 2006, at St. Charles Medical Center in Bend. He was 41.

A funeral was held Nov. 9, 2006, at Monument Community Church, followed by a celebration of life and potluck dinner at Monument Senior Center.

Mr. Boyer was born Oct. 14, 1965, in John Day, to Richard and Mary Boyer. He graduated from Long Creek High School.

He worked for Blue Mountain Sawmill for many years. He and his wife, Joy, moved to Kansas, where he was a foreman for Wright’s Tree Service, going to various states to assist in cleaning up and restoring power after disasters.

Mr. Boyer enjoyed big game hunting, horn hunting, fishing, horseback riding and team roping.

Mr. Boyer is survived by his wife; parents; sons Shawn, Tyler, Kurt, Warren and Jarret; sister Debbie Twiet of Umatilla; brothers Wes Boyer of Hermiston and Rich Boyer of Connell, Wash.; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by sister Laurie Boyer; and his grandparents.
