Obituary: Kenneth Patrick Fahey

Kenneth Patrick Fahey of Cordesville, S.C.,?a wildland firefighter with the U.S. Forest Service, died Thursday Jan. 25, 2007 in Berkeley County. He was 35.
The memorial service was held on Feb. 2, 2007, at the First Baptist Church of Bonneau, directed by Russell Funeral Chapel, Moncks Corner.
?Mr. Fahey was born July 28, 1971 in Bronx, N.Y., to Thomas Oliver Fahey and Nora Kilkelly Fahey. He was a member of the Society of Forestry.
Mr. Fahey was a former employee of Pisgah National Forest and a former crew member for Malheur Rappel Crew.
He is survived by his wife, Amy Nicole Lindsay Fahey of Cordesville; his parents of Carmel, N.Y.; son, Clain Nolan Fahey of Cordesville; daughter, Megan Skehan of Bronx, N.Y.; two brothers, Dermot Fahey of Yonkers, N.Y.; and Emmeth Fahey of Carmel, N.Y.
Mr. Fahey was preceded in death by a brother, Thomas Fahey.
