Grant County Archery Action: Local archers compete in Monument

Grant County archers competed in the February 4-H Mail-In Tournament, an NFAA Field Round event.

Two youth, Brad Woodell and Laura Verstoppen came in first in their classes.

Six leaders and 189 4-H archers participated in the competition.

Following are the results for the Grant County competitors, with the place and score for each:

Class 2, Grade 5 – Alix Perkins, 21, 106.

Class 3, Grade 6 – Brad Woodell, 1, 211; Cheyenne Perkins, 11, 89.

Class 4, Grade 7 – Kile Lee, 8, 94; Mary Cade, 12, 63.

Class 11, Releases, Grades 7-8-9 – Laura Verstoppen, 1, 293; Tyler Moodenbaugh, 4, 272; Clint Millton, 7, 254; Riley Cade, 12, 224; Lance Saling, 15, 220.

Class 12, Releases, Grades 10-11-12 – Jake Hyder, 7, 259.
