Jeff Pendleton, fire management officer, said the sessions will include Oregon OSHA Fire Training, the annual Fire Refresher and Fire Shelter Deployment Refresher.
The programs will be offered from 8 a.m. to noon on each day.
The annual refresher courses are mandatory for anyone who might go to the fireline on a National Forest fire. That includes drivers, fallers, tender operators, dozer operators and others doing similar work.

Information on emergency equipment rental agreements for 2007 also will be available soon.
Anyone interested in signing up should call the front desk of the federal building in John Day or the Prairie City or Emigrant Creek Ranger district offices.
