Gasoline prices inch upward

In the past week, the national average price for a gallon of regular gasoline rose three and a half cents to $2.81, according to AAA.
In Oregon, the increase was four and a half cents, pushing the statewide average to $2.82 slightly ahead of the national average.
The current national average price is 19-cents higher than it was one year ago; Oregon’s average price is 11-cents lower than last year.
