Romance: Allen - Williams

Marissa Allen and Zach Williams were married July 21, 2007, in Prairie City at the Bed and Breakfast by the River. Ken Purnell officiated the ceremony.

Marissa is the daughter of Molly and Larry Finley of Mt. Vernon. She is a 1997 graduate of Grant Union High School. She is the general manager of the Blue Mountain Eagle.

Zach is the son of King and Barbara Williams of Canyon City. He is a 1999 graduate of Grant Union High School and a 2004 graduate from Oregon State University. He is employed by King Inc.

The maid of honor was the bride’s friend, Melissa Galbreath, of Seneca. Bride’s maids were sister-in-law to the groom, Rachel Williams of Camas, Wash., and cousin to the groom, Kim Seher of Toronto, Canada. Flower girls were Taylor Allen and Drewsey Williams, daughters of the bride and groom. The ring bearer was Holt Williams, nephew of the groom.

The best man was the groom’s brother, Bryan Williams of Camas, Wash. Groomsmen were the bride’s brother, Chance Finley of Mt. Vernon and friend of the groom, Jeremy Boethin of Bend.

A reception was held in Canyon City at the Canyon City Community Hall.

The couple spent eight days in Maui and then returned to take their girls to the coast for four days for their honeymoon. They reside in Canyon City.
