Martial arts students show winning ways

Students from TJAYs Martial Art Training Academy traveled to Sacramento, Calif., in December to compete in the 13th Annual Goodwill Championships.
They brought home an array of honors. The results included:
Jordan Hitz: 1st in sparring & 3rd in forms.
Garrett Hitz: 2nd in sparring & 1st in forms.
Michel Hitz: 2nd in sparring & 2nd in forms.
Nancy Hitz: 1st in sparring & 2nd in forms.
Dylan Powell: 1st in sparring & 3rd in forms.
Kailey Neal: 3rd in sparring.
Wendy Neal: 2nd in sparring.
Joley Davis: 3rd in sparring.
Johna Davis: 2nd in forms.
David Sprouffske: 2nd in sparring.
Gabe McKern: 3rd in sparring & 1st in forms.
Mark Olson: 2nd in forms.
Nick Piazza: 2nd in forms.
Holly Davis: 3rd in sparring.
Also competing was Brandie Lambeth and traveling with the team were students Scott & Patti Powell, who did not compete at the tournament.
