Obituaries: Holly Lee Clark

Holly Lee Clark, 40, of Fruitland, Idaho, died Dec. 17, 2007, after a courageous battle with diabetes and kidney failure.

A celebration of her life was held Dec. 22, at Harvest Rock Church in Ontario.

She was born Jan. 26, 1967, in Baker City, to Maxie and Donna Hull. She graduated from Grant Union High School in John Day. She has four sisters: Coleen Aldrich, Wendy and Tiffany Hull, and Kim Johnson.

In 1988, she married Raven Briseno. They had one son, Crocket, now18.

In 1995, she married Travis Clark of Prairie City. Travis is the son of Verna and Gunther Clark of Prairie City.

She worked at the K-Mart Store in Ontario for five years. She and Travis have been active members in their church for the past 12 years. Many loving friends supported them with Scripture and prayers.

She will be long-remembered for her delicious pies, which were sometimes purchased at high prices for fund-raisers.

She loved all animals, especially her dog, Mattie. She loved to work in her vegetable garden and tend to her beautiful roses. She could make a plant grow when all others could not. She also would work on her little sports car, when her health permitted.

Survivors include her husband, Travis Clark; son, Crocket; mother, Donna Johnson; stepfather, Marlin Johnson; father, Max Hull; stepmother, Dolly; in-laws, Verna and Gunther Clark of Prairie City; grandmother Dorothy Rounsville of Weldon, Calif.; four sisters; and numerous aunts, uncles, nephews, and nieces.
