Tye and Stephanie Parsons of John Day, announce the birth of a son, Taylor Aaron Parsons, January 10, 2008, at Blue Mountain Hospital. He weighed 8 pounds, 6 ounces and was 21 inches long. He joins older sister Halle, 22 months.

Grandparents are Steve and Dotty Parsons of Mt. Vernon, and Lenny and Sherri Dowdy of John Day. Great-grandparents are Jackie Parsons of Clackamas, Lois Hickerson of John Day, and Ronny and Joyce Dowdy of Mt. Vernon. Great-great grandmother is Velma Dowdy of Springfield.
