Here it is… Will I actually fit into a bikini by the 4th of July?!!??

#1 Goal:

Become more physically fit, better muscle tone, healthier lifestyle, and mostly feel good and confident about myself.

Biggest Obstacle:

Not giving into cravings or not giving into just sitting on the couch with my husband at night when I’m tired. Pushing away that feeling and know that I will feel so much better once I’m done exercising then I will sitting for 2 hours then going to bed.

Who/What is My Biggest Motivator:

The thought of doing what I used to do – Mountaineering, skiing, rock/ice climbing, hiking, snowshoeing – and being able to do it and enjoy it because I’m not struggling with fatigue the entire time. Being able to lead a group of students into the wilderness, and have the energy to keep moving and teaching all day -AND have energy left at the end of the day when they are all exhausted to finish up what I need to finish. My kids are growing up, and I want to be able to take them out and teach them all those skills and have fun, and I need to be physically fit to do that with them.

#1 Strategy:

I don’t know if I would call it strategy… just keeping my goal in mind, exercising for at least 30 minutes per day, and working more healthy foods in and unhealthy foods out. When I have the choice of walking to the mailbox or driving, I will walk, etc.

What is going to keep me Focused:

Seeing results, FEELING results and knowing that every Monday I am going to have to call Carrie and relay to her my weight!

Secret Food Craving:

It’s no secret… it is anything Chocolate!

Exercise I love to Hate:

I have two – Push-ups and Pull-ups. I used to be able to do more of these than most of the men I worked with. Now I avoid them because they are hard and I feel like such a wimp when I can’t do hardly any. It’s one of those I dread, but like to improve on.

Ok, now it’s on paper, I guess I can’t back out now!
