Feb. 24, 2008 – Awoke to almost an inch of fresh snow here on Big Boulder Creek. We are not amused.

Really, more snow. But it looks as if the melt-off will be quick and significant today. At least the new stuff will be gone by midday. The rest, well that’s a different story.

The top rail of the split rail fence is largely visible. Looks sort of like Nessie snaking along the Loch Ness.

Les chipped the last ice rafts off the porch, the birds are singing, the creek is flowing, can spring be far behind?
