Leta White and Wesley Quant of Prairie City announce the birth of their first child, a daughter, Sage Lee Quant, on Feb. 5, 2008 at Blue Mountain Hospital. She weighed 7 pounds, 12 ounces and was 21-1/4 inches long.

Grandparents are Todd and Nancy Quant of John Day, Leanna White of Tillamook, and Daniel Winters of John Day. Great-grandparents are Charlie and Janeice White of Prairie City.
