CANYON CITY – A class to help entrepreneurs with the challenges of launching a business is set for Tuesday, March 4, at the Guernsey Building, 120 Washington St.

“So You Think You Wanna Start Your Own Business?” is the title of the class. The presenter will be Greg Smith, director of the Eastern Oregon University Small Business Development Center.

Smith will cover topics including:

? Testing and protecting your business idea.

? Creating a business plan.

? Financing plans.

? Building a team.

? Using the Internet.

? Controling cash and credit.

? Tracking your business progress.

The class is free, and people can register at the door.
