Let the egg hunts begin ...

JOHN DAY – The John Day Fire Department is preparing an Easter egg hunt at noon Saturday, March 22, at the Grant Union High School football field. Children and families are also invited to decorate Easter eggs, 1-5 p.m. Friday, March 21 at the Fire Hall, 209 SE Dayton in John Day.

Other local groups are also preparing egg hunts and other Easter festivities are:

? Seneca School PTA: Easter egg hunt, 11 a.m. Saturday, March 22.

? Dayville: Easter egg hunt in the Dayville City Park, 10 a.m. Saturday, March 22. Open to children ages 0-6. Lots of prizes!

? Mt. Vernon Fire Department: Easter egg hunt, 10 a.m. Saturday, March 22 in the Mt. Vernon City Park.
