The Southeast Regional Alliance will hold its regular board meeting at 10 a.m. Monday, April 28, at the Harney County Courthouse, 450 N. Buena Vista in Burns.
The public is invited to attend. The SRA is a community and economic development region serving Grant, Harney, and Malheur Counties. It functions as the Regional Investment Board, Regional Partnership and Southeast Area Commission on Transportation (SEACT).
There will be an update on the status of ODOT’s ConnectOregon II program, which will fund $100 million in marine, rail, aviation and transit projects, with $10 million earmarked for each ODOT region.
The 13 projects submitted from ODOT Region 5 were prioritized at a joint meeting of the SEACT and the Northeast Oregon ACT. A statewide committee will make the final recommendations on April 29-30 in Portland.
Another item on the agenda is the future of the Regional Investment Program, a business development program that was not funded by the Legislature for this biennium. There will be a discussion of possible Board reconfiguration with the elimination of this program.
