What things have been the biggest reward for you since starting the challenge?

My biggest reward has been the ENDURANCE & STRENGTH I have gained. I may not have lost as much weight as I hoped to, but I do FEEL BETTER!

What has been a positive change in your life since starting the challenge?

Just knowing that I can fit time into my day to exercise and not feel overwhelmed.

What have you struggled the most with?

I have struggled with the WILL POWER to say NO to my favorite foods, such as pastas, sweets and just anything that tastes good. The exercising does not seem to be a problem but saying NO to those fabulous desserts is!

A lot of people have hit a plateau, what are you doing to keep yourself motivated?

You know, plateaus of weight loss may be being hit, but I think everyone needs to look at other things such as BLOOD PRESSURE, HEART RATE, AND LOST INCHES. This is what keeps me going. Even though I don’t see the pounds so much coming off I do see inches and better numbers for my blood pressure and heart rate. Those are WONDERFUL ACCOMPLISHMENTS.

What has helped keep you on track so far?

I have been staying on track knowing that summer will soon be here (WE ALL HOPE, ANYWAY). I want to be able to wear a swimsuit, shorts or tank top and feel good about it.

Are you happy to still be on the challenge?

DEFINITELY, this is a wonderful challenge for Grant County. I have hope of more teams and better challenges for the upcoming year. How can you NOT want to feel better about yourself and make a difference in your life and even your families lives???

What are your plans for the final part of the challenge?

I plan on stepping up my workouts with more repetitions and resistance. I can hopefully gain some will power to SAY NO to those darn sweets and pastas.

GREAT JOB EVERYONE! YOU SHOULD BE PROUD OF YOURSELF. LET’S STEP IT UP AND HIT THESE LAST FEW MONTHS WITH A VENGEANCE. GO EAGLE PAPERWEIGHTS!
