Gleason pool gets ready for the summer

JOHN DAY – The Gleason Pool is kicking off the swim season Friday, June 13.
The season is expected to continue to the end of August. Swim lessons will be held from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. in five two-week sessions this summer. Lessons are $30 per person per session.
Recreational swim sessions will be held from 12 to 5 p.m. and 6:30 to 8 p.m. Monday through Saturday. Sunday will be reserved for private or organization parties.
Single-day passes are $4 per person. Season passes for John Day and Canyon City residents are $105 for a family, and only include immediate family, and $60 for an individual. Passes for all others are $110 for families and $65 for individuals.
All kids ages 7 and under are required to have an adult within arm’s reach when they are in the big pool.
