Reach for the Stars, Lasso the Future

For 99 years, the Grant County Fair has been an important part of our community, our youth, and our future. It has been changing along with our world; remembering the old and offering the new. The Fair is rich in tradition and history with a flare for the new and innovative. The Grant County Fair is a way to emphasize the importance of agriculture in our daily lives and to re-create the longtime tradition of the county fair which was an important part of our heritage and culture. People of all ages demonstrate their talents and hard work to educate and inspire us. We see the hope, industry, and pride that reflect the best in all of us. Tradition exemplifies community pride and a sense of connection to each other. The fair has always been a community event where friends and family come together to enjoy a good time, fellowship with old friends and make new friends.

The fair brings together the best of everything. Feel the nervous excitement during the 4-H & FFA livestock shows. Cheer the rodeo contestants as they rope and ride. Discover the talents of Grant County. Watch children eagerly wait in line for a snowcone. Sense the anticipation of the thrilling carnival rides. Celebrate and enjoy time with family and friends. There is something that will have you sharing wonderful memories for years to come by being part of the excitement this week.

I encourage you to take in all that the Fair has to offer. Entertainment from The Ballon Man to rodeo; food from hamburgers to teriyaki, music from fiddlers to rock & roll, animals from cows to lizards, displays made by young and the young at heart, carnival and games, camaraderie with family and friends. We try to offer the best in culture, educational, economic and social opportunities to all. Come and enjoy the experience of Grant County, its people, its rural character and its strong agricultural traditions.
