Kaitlin WoosleyWelcome to the 2008 Grant County Fair and Rodeo. I am Kaitlin Marie Woosley, and I am a Princess on the court this year. This is a very big privilege for me. I am a 16-year-old junior at Dayville High School where I participate in student government, volleyball, basketball, and our community 4-H club.

I live with my family in Dayville where I enjoy hunting, fishing and hanging together. Kaitlin WoosleyMy sister and I are best friends, and it is such a great experience to be on the court together.

My partner this year is an 11-year-old paint gelding named Charger. My family has had him since he was 4 years old. I have been riding him for the last four years.

I have enjoyed going to other counties and meeting the other courts. This was a great experience in my life. My plans are to run for the fair and rodeo court again next year. This has been an exciting year, and I hope this opportunity will be available to other girls in the future. Thanks for all the support I and the court has received this year. We’ll see you at the fair.

Sahara DerowitschMy name is Sahara Derowitsch. I am a 2008 Grant County Fair and Rodeo Princess. Sahara DerowitschI just graduated this summer from Monument High School. I have lived in Grant County for five years, and I love everything about it. I live with my grandparents Dannie and Wanda Derowitsch. Along with being Grant County Fair and Rodeo Princess, I have also been involved with Basketball, Volleyball, 4-H, FFA, and Student Council.

I have a 7-year-old Palomino horse named Harley. In the previous years at the Grant County Fair, I have shown lambs and done exhibits such as cooking. After high school, I plan to attend Pima Medical Institute and study to be a veterinarian’s assistant.

Ever since I was a little girl I have always dreamed about being on the Rodeo Court. This is a dream come true and it has been a blast. I look forward to seeing all of you at the Grant County Fair and Rodeo.
