Summer is going strong!

June was a tough month, but then I have been saying that every month. What made June tough was a 10 day trip to Alaska and living on a prepared menu. The food was great and that was the problem. We made a habit of surf and turf. T-bones and Salmon cooked more ways than I can remember. The Halibut on the other hand, I will never forget. Ok, enough about food. We went to Alaska to help a small mission church about an hour out of Anchorage in Wasilla. This trip reminded me of why the Eagle Challenge is so important to me.

To remain active and be able to serve when and where I am needed!!

For those that want to see more of what we did in Alaska, see www.JohnDayNazarene.com for blogs and photo galleries.

Moving into the last month will be a great incentive to stay strong. July will also bring the Seattle to Portland Bicycle ride. That is a two day 200 mile bicycle trip from Seattle to Portland. We have six family members riding the ride and are anticipating a WONDERFUL time. Steady and consistent riding, focusing on the intake, all will provide the needed boost to “finish strong”

Let’s go TEAM PERFORMANCE lets finish strong together!!
