Shayla and Eric Metzger of Bend announce the birth of their son, Talon Ray Metzger, on March 26, 2008 in Bend. He weighed 8 pounds, 12 ounces and was 20 3/4 inches long.

Grandparents are Kirk Robert Metzger of Camp Sherman, Gwen Barnum of Overgaard, Ariz., David Moles of Sunriver and Toni Fowler of Canyon City.

Great-grandparents are Liz and the late Raymond Moles of John Day, and Danny and Janice Ellison of Canyon City.
