Frances and Iyatho Russell of Colorado announce the birth of their daughter, Maya Avery Russell, on June 20, 2008, in Colorado Springs, Colo. She weighed 6 pounds, 15 ounces and was 21 inches long. She joins older sister, Ariana, age 3.

Grandparents are Jerry and Kitty Russell of Kimberly, and Lu and Bob Bitter of Pratt, Kansas.
