Babs and Brad Niva of Sisters announce the birth of their son, Riley Zane Niva, at 1:54 p.m. on June 29, 2008 in Grants Pass. He weighed 6 pounds, 14 ounces and was 19 1/2 inches long. He joins older sibling, Piper Niva, age 2 1/2 years.

Grandparents are Carolyn and the late John Niva of Whidbey Island, Wash., Chuck and Pat Amling of John Day, and Jan Amling of Albany.
