SENECA – The Grant County Shooting Sports Club hosted the Past Members Memorial Shoot Aug. 31.

The tournament was made of five shoots consisting of 10 shots each and honored past members of the club. Shoots included the Shirley Comini 16 yard singles, Jim Henning 24 yard handicap, Roger Kimberling 22 yard continental, Vern Fields 16 yard doubles and Dick Chase beyond the 25 yard miss and out.

Family of the past members were present at the shoot and Gordon Larson displayed a plaque with each former member’s name. Shorty Hoppe took home the Henry 22 lever action rifle that was given away.
