PRAIRIE CITY – The Strawberry Striders annual Half (Fast) Marathon Run and 10K Walk is coming up.

The marathon will be held Sept. 20 and will start at the U.S. Forest Service building in Prairie City. The walk will start near Pine Creek Road. Both races will finish at John Day City Park.

This year’s event is free to all participants. Water will be available on the course and refreshments will be provided at the finish.
