Tiger football falls to JV

JORDAN VALLEY – The Monument/Long Creek/Dayville football team opened its season Sept. 5.
The Tigers fell 46-22 to Jordan Valley in their first game of league play. Jordan Valley took an early lead, but the Tigers held them to a single touchdown in the second half.
“We played incredibly good in the second half,” Tigers’ coach Butch Sagaser said. “There was a total difference in the two halves.”
Kyle Hand led the Tigers in rushing and Tyler Moodenbaugh was the top receiver with a 50-yard touchdown.
The Tigers will play Crane Friday, Sept. 12 at 2 p.m. in Monument.
