Grant County is currently accepting bids from qualified service providers for bi-annual window cleaning services for the Courthouse (201 S. Humbolt Street, Canyon City), Library (507 S. Canyon Blvd, John Day), Public Health Clinic (528 E. Main Street, John Day) and Commercial Buildings (530 E. Main, John Day). Bidders must show proof of licensure by either the City of John Day of Town of Canyon City. Successful bidder must provide proof of Workers Compensation Insurance on all employees, or a Workers Compensation “if any basis” policy. A $10,000 Janitorial Service Bond is required. Contract period begins October 1, 2008 and ends April 30, 2009.

An inspection tour is available on request by calling the Courthouse/Commercial Buildings 575-0059 or 575-1798, the Library 575-1992, and the Health Clinic 575-0429. The required Bid Form describing performance specifications and a sample contract may be obtained at the office of the Grant County Court, 201 S. Humbolt, Ste 280, Canyon City OR 97820. Sealed bids must be received by the County Court office before 5:00 pm September 23. Bid Opening is September 24 at 10:00 am. Grant County retains the right to refuse any and all bids, including those not submitted on the Bid Form.
