JOHN DAY – The India Children’s Choir, a ministry of Bibles for the World, will perform in concert at 7 p.m. Friday, Sept. 19, at John Day Church of the Nazarene, 541 E. Main St.

The choir, which is on a 10-month tour of the United States, is composed of 22 children, ages 8-12, from the hills of Manipur on the India-Burma-China border.

The children are direct descendents of former headhunters, and through their concerts, they tell the story of their people’s transformation from fierce headhunters – only two generations ago – to young ambassadors for Christ.
