Letter: Wind power in the crosshairs?

To the Editor:
The Oregon Natural Desert Association has caused my cattle operation financial losses. Their anti-grazing lawsuits have caused neighborhood ranches to lose money with several going out of business. Now ONDA will hurt every single Oregonian financially with their opposition to wind power generation in the Steens Mountains.
Another disappointment is the governor’s office being opposed to a new liquefied gas seaport in the mouth of the Columbia River.
I guess ONDA members and state officials can afford high gasoline prices. They probably don’t buy diesel. Maybe they don’t even eat beef.
