Bonny Jo (Leatherman) Good, 61, of John Day, died Aug. 30, 2008 at Blue Mountain Hospital. A memorial service was held Saturday, Sept. 6 at Strawberry Mountain Christian Fellowship, with Pastor Ira Hodge officiating.

Mrs. Good was born Oct. 31, 1946 in Bremerton, Wash. to Buck and Dorothy (Gehrig) Leatherman. She attended Boise High School, graduating in 1964.

On Dec. 4, 1971, she married David Good in Boise, Idaho. She enjoyed staying home to raise their daughter Brenda.

She loved crocheting, embroidering and making quilts.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Buck and Dorothy Leatherman.

Survivors include her husband, David Good of John Day; daughter, Brenda Stinnett of Canyon City; and three grandchildren.
