ADRIAN – Adrian picked up three wins against Grant County teams last week.

The Monument/Long Creek/Dayville football team fell to Adrian Sept. 19 by a score of 56-18. That left the team at 0-3 in 1A Special District 6 games.

The Monument/Dayville volleyball team lost to the Antelopes in three games. The first and second games were 25-9. However, the Tigers improved in the final game and closed the gap to 25-20.

The Tigers are 0-3 in High Desert League play.

“We did really well in the third set against Adrian,” Monument/Dayville volleyball coach Rachel Marble said. “We had some hard games already this season.”

The Long Creek volleyball team was also swept by Adrian.

All three Monument, Long Creek and Dayville teams will head to Huntington on Friday, Sept. 26.
