PENDLETON – The Grant County Youth Soccer teams started their season last week.

Both under-15 teams traveled to Pendleton for games Friday, Sept. 26. The Prairie Drug & Hardware team beat Pendleton’s A team 6-1. Samantha Brock and Connor Broemeling were the players of the game. The John Day McDonald’s team beat Pendleton’s B team 8-1. Joe Wunz and Omar Medina were selected as the players of the game.

The McDonald’s team defeated the Prairie Drug & Hardware team 11-5 Saturday, Sept. 27.

Prairie’s captains were Amy Lallatin and Kelsey Long. They chose Codey Edgar and Trent Sohr as players of the game. McDonald’s captains were Omar Medina and Tynan Callahan. Lindsey Webb was picked as the McDonald’s player of the game.
