To the Editor:

After talking with State Rep. John Huffman (District 59) at a Madras “get-to-know-me” meeting, I think the very best word to describe who he is, would be: integrity. Learning about his work ethics when running his radio station in The Dalles, resonated with me as a small business owner myself. John Huffman does not hide behind his words and actions. He lives them.

Deeply concerned about saving the government money as well as the individual, he has a passion. He treats you as a longtime friend, even the first time you meet with him. He talks deeply and meaningfully on any subject of concern because he is first and foremost an Oregonian with the same vision for an economic healthy state as all of us do. He is intelligent, knowledgeable, and a great speaker who can do us a great service as our District 59 state representative.
