To the Editor:

As a former District Attorney of Morrrow County and former Deputy District Attorney for Jefferson County, I encourage concerned voters to support Jefferson County Commissioner Mike Ahern for state representative.

I would like to remind everyone that support for our police, criminal justice system and emergency services is a vital issue in rural Oregon.

Mike Ahern has a proven record of supporting and working with local police and emergency services agencies and local criminal prosecutors.

Mike Ahern knows our local law enforcement community needs support in the Legislature and how critical these issues are for public safety in our communities. Mike has worked on the local level and knows that we need a strong voice in Salem to assure that our rural communities get the attention they deserve.
